Privacy Policy — Hone Poker

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Hone Poker LLC ("Hone Poker," "we," "us") handles personal information collected through honepoker.com, the Hone Poker app at hone.poker, and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. Information we collect

Email address — when you join the waitlist, sign up for product updates, or create an account.
Account and gameplay information — if you create an account: your login details and in-app activity such as hands played, decisions, and training progress, used to power coaching and track your improvement.
Technical and usage data — standard log and analytics information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referral source, used to operate and improve the site.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, government IDs, payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal information. The Service involves no real money, so we process no payments.

3. How we use your information

To provide and operate the Service, including your account and training history.
To send waitlist confirmations, product updates, and similar emails you've signed up for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
To protect the Service, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of vendors to run the Service, and they process data only on our behalf: our website and app hosting providers, our database provider (which stores waitlist and account data), and our email delivery provider (which sends confirmation and update emails). Each is bound by its own contractual and privacy obligations.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy would continue to apply to your data until updated).

5. Data retention

We keep your email on our waitlist or updates list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after you delete your account. Log and analytics data is retained for limited periods appropriate to its purpose.

6. Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe — use the link in any of our emails, or contact us.
Access, correction, deletion — you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (including under certain U.S. state privacy laws), these may be legal rights; either way, we honor reasonable requests.

7. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including reputable hosted infrastructure and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. United States processing

The Service is operated from the United States and directed to U.S. users. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here and update the "Last updated" date above; for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
